Jarrow
& Hebburn A.C. 'Robin Hood 10K'
Monday 20th August 2007
Jarrow & Hebburn A.C. in association with The Jarrow Brewery are pleased to present the inaugural 'Robin Hood 10K' on Monday 20th August 2007 at the Robin Hood pub and restaurant, Primrose Hill, Jarrow.
Please note that this race replaces the '6-Mile Riverside Challenge' and is an entirely new venue and new route for the race.
The Robin Hood will be the race HQ and used for post-race presentations.
The race will be run through King George playing fields and adjacent parkland behind the Robin Hood.
The course follows two and a half loops of the fields and is mostly on tarmac footpaths with small sections on grass.
We are pleased to say that this year for the first time there will be a 2km junior race as well.
Come along and enjoy the run then relax with a nice pint of one of the Robin Hood's finest locally produced ales.
Please remember to drink sensibly and get a lift. Drink plenty of water before during and after the run. Drink Aware & Think!
Look forward to seeing you on the night. Good Luck!
The members and committee of Jarrow & Hebburn A.C. would like to express
their thanks to Mr. Jess McConnell of the Jarrow Brewery as well as the
additional sponsors of the 'Robin Hood 10k' for providing invaluable support
for this event.
