Jarrow and Hebburn athletes have the opportunity to compete in a wide range of track and field disciplines. The Club hope for a strong turnout across the various events this season. Please speak with your team captain or coach to find out more information on how to be involved. The confirmed fixtures are listed below but are subject to change.

North East Senior Development League

A new North East Senior League is going ahead in 2024, including the 12 original teams from the previous Northern Athletics Track and Field League. Jarrow and Hebburn AC have partnered with Houghton Harriers and will compete in a joint team in this year’s competition.

North East Masters Athletics Association (NEMAA) Track and Field League

Competition for Masters athletes aged 35 and over, with all fixtures held at our home ground of Monkton Stadium. This is a great opportunity to participate in track and field competition and potentially challenge for some silverware. You need to become a member of NEMAA to compete; see here for membership details. There is a £5 entry fee per fixture and NEMAA members can enter a maximum of three events each time. The closing date for entries will be on the Friday (5pm) before each fixture. Field events will start at 6.00pm (warm ups at 5.30pm) and track events at 6.30 pm (apart from the 2km and 3km walk events, which start from 5.30pm). North East Youth Development League

An introduction to competition for young athletes between the ages of 11 and 16. Jarrow and Hebburn AC are in Division 2 and have partnered with Birtley AC and Phoenix Flyers. There is no fee as the club pays for the league. A link will be emailed via the club portal to register your interest for events. You must be a fully paid up club member to compete in the league.
